Spring and Asura

Master Year 1 (2024)

This installation offers an interactive reading experience, immersing people in the poem’s world while highlighting the beauty and the connotative effect of the form “literature.” The letters are not just a means to deliver information but visual art that can influence people sensually. Still, they won’t talk about specific visual subjects kindly, and there is enough space for people to enjoy interpreting them. On the film sheet, the letters are sometimes hard to read, prompting questions about how we perceive them. The words are projected using a combination of artificial film and sunlight, reflecting the author’s idea about writing, “Mental Sketch Modified.” He called the activity of writing a poem so, and it was exploring the universe, nature, and the connection between the self and the world. Viewers are engaged in the relationship between humans and nature through the sunlight-filtered words and it reflects the author's idea about the way to write a poem and think about himself and the world with being at one with nature.
